Confusing to look at? Just smile: It was a cool summer morning, resting, luxuriating, being gratefully calm, even serene, in the early days of a lingering grieving process. I took a self portrait. A thought to share a breathe of light during quite a dark time. Later feeling easy spirited, I played with just a bit of image folding. This was enough. I like my portrait. :)
Born to a visual artist, sculptor and musician, Doe-Lyn has been drawing and painting since her earliest memories. “My father took care of me while dealing his art from the fences of NYU annex buildings and feverishly working in his studio.
